Synopsis

Flip N. Sam is about two anthropomorphic characters; a bird named Flip and a fish named Sam, who move in together in order to start their own independent life. Their goal is to make a recognizable name for themselves across the web and the physical world. Flip N. Sam will be in the form of a mini web comic series and eventually an independent animated series.

The humor will switch from being bizarre and unorthodox to being subtle and deep. At times there will be moments of self-awareness, but not too blatant or obvious so that the humor doesn't drag on too long and that more focus can be brought to character development. The series as a whole will be a mix of linear and branching storytelling by providing a consistent continuity with the events around the story while being able to be non-linear. In fact, other characters besides Flip and Sam will get several spotlight episodes while intertwining with the main events of the story.

Flip N. Bird

Flip N. Bird is a very laid back and oblivious character that does tend to become over the top. At many occasions, he has the tendency of acting like a smartass while maintaining his suave nature. Despite being eccentric, Flip does become persistent when it comes to completing important tasks and occasionally tends to feel sincere and deep. Flip is well known for being very unorthodox and unpredictable with what he may represent himself towards other ‘people’.

Sam N. Fish

Sam is Flip’s ‘chum’ and he acts as the brains of the duo. He takes things in a more serious manner and prefers to be more productive. Sam is often sarcastic and points out all of the problems without a sugar coating. Despite this, Sam can have his softer moments and other mysterious interests.
